The practice runs a range of health promotion clinics and medical services. Appointments are necessary for most clinics -- check with the reception staff if uncertain.

The practice acknowledges both male and female sensitivities when intimate examinations are necessary. We have well woman clinics at Chobham and West End surgeries where both a female doctor and nurse are available for consultation. Male patients can request to see a male doctor when they make a routine appointment.

These take place at both Chobham and West End surgeries. Please ring the appropriate surgery to make an appointment. A complete range of contraception services are available -- including advice and counselling on the oral contraceptive pill, sterilisation, vasectomy, and the fitting of coils, caps and emergency contraception.

Many minor surgical procedures are undertaken at the surgery to save long waits for hospital treatment. Consult your doctor first to discuss whether the operation is necessary and to arrange an appointment for the minor surgery clinic.

Disease management clinics

Examples of clinics available include asthma, diabetes, well woman, family planning, blood pressure/heart disease, counselling and stress incontinence.

Aged over 75 you are entitled to an annual medical check in the surgery, or in your own home if you are unable to attend the surgery. Please make an appointment if you require this service.
